GENERAL ACCOMMODATION INFO
The wedding will be based in the village of San Cassiano, Alta Badia in the Italian Dolomites. English is usually a little limited as this is an Italian and German speaking area. However, most websites have an English page and email correspondence is usually good.
San Cassiano is a small village and ideally everyone would be based there. Villa is 4km away and Costadedoi is a small collection of buildings/B&Bs in between the two. The nearest decent sized supermarket is the Spar in La Villa. There is a smaller Spar in San Cassiano.
We would strongly suggest booking accommodation as soon as possible as it will get booked up.

ALTA BADIA TOURIST INFORMATION
This is an extremely valuable resource and possibly the best way to go about booking your accommodation, particularly if you are a group of friends all wishing to stay together. This link for searching accommodation does work but you will get a much more comprehensive list of availability by emailing the tourist info directly:

Send them the dates of your stay, the number of people you wish to accommodate and the type of accommodation you are hoping for. They will then send you the contact details of all the accommodation that match your search criteria with availability during that time. This will save you a lot of time!
MIA ALTA BADIA
Mia Alta Badia also has a search option at the bottom of the page for San Cassiano. Just type in the dates and it will send a blanket email to accommodation with availability and they ail get back to you with prices.
END OF SEASON "SUPERSUN" DISCOUNT
For those staying the whole week, as of 14th March the Super Sun discount applies to most accommodation options (usually 7 nights for the price of 6) and children tend to be included for free. Do ask at the time of booking as some may neglect to mention this! Look for the yellow sun logo in the complete accommodation list above.
SELF-CATERED APARTMENTS/B&Bs
Some apartments include breakfast downstairs, some have a half-board option and others have access to wellness centres with sauna/steam-room etc. Most have detailed information on their websites and reviews/additional photos can be accessed via trip advisor or booking.com.
Below is a list of self-catered/B&B style accommodation that we know is still available when writing this. Email addresses can be found on their websites and we have been in contact with all of these to let them know our plans. In some cases we have provisionally reserved accommodation so we'd be grateful if you could let us know where you are planning to stay if it appears on this list - we can then let you know who else might be staying there and how many apartments are still available.
This list is obviously not exhaustive but includes some of the more central good value apartments we have found during our research. Please feel free to explore accommodation options yourselves - just check the location in relation to the Piz Sorega ski lift and San Cassiano centre.

Villa Flora
Pretty self catered accommodation, central San Cassiano.
The Fanes Group is a family run enterprise comprising a number of apartments, hotels, restaurants etc in San Cassiano. A number of the following are included in this group. The Fanes fidelity card will give you discounts on other restaurants, ski hire etc in the enterprise.
Ciasa La Ro
Part of the Fanes Group. 2 - 4 people apartments, typical Tyrloean furnishing. 297 euros per person per week.
Dolomieu Apartments
This whole residence is currently completely free for the week and will sleep 24 - 33 people depending on your sleeping arrangements. If a big group want to stay together this would be a good option. Central location, kitchen facilities etc, 46 euros per person per day. Please contact them directly and mention our wedding.
Ciasa Milandura
Currently Apartments Aquilegia (2 people), Orchidea (4 people) and Soldanella (6 people) are still available. Price is 344 euros per person per week. Free wifi, daily bread service, ski depot etc. Please let us know if you want to book here and we'll contact them for you. Next door to Ciasa Anteriol. Part of the Fanes group.
Ciasa Ulli
Part of the Fanes Group. 273 euros per person per week. 2, 3 and 4-person (slightly dated = dubious decor!) apartments. A 7 day stay also includes a night at Las Vegas lodge.
Ciasa Anteriol
We have reserved accommodation here so please get in touch with us if you fancy this. Would sleep 15 people in 2 -3 bed apartments. 40-50 euros per person per night. Next door to Ciasa Milandura. Part of the Fanes enterprise.
Luch de Pcei
We have made a provisional reservation here for family. Another one in the Fanes group, situated up on the hill overlooking San Cassiano next door to the Fanes Hotel.
Garni Ciasa Ai Pini
Run by the same family as Residence Dolomieu, these apartments look great if you don't mind them being 2km from San Cassiano towards Armentarola. Lovely rustic Tyrloean apartments with associated wellness centre. Again, they have space for a number of guests at present.

Hotel Fanes & Wellness Centre
4 star accommodation - "Alpine Tradition and luxurious comfort, well-being and relaxation, beauty and revitalisation, unforgettable landscape and sporting activities in the rocky Dolomite mountains." There are some superb rooms at a premium, but the rooms in the old part of the hotel (where the walls are part of the original farm building) are better value. There is a free shuttle to the slopes and it has a great spa and pool (indoor and outdoor). Beautiful views.
Rosa Alpina
5 star accommodation next door to the Michelin starred Restaurant St Hubertus. Apparently the best place to stay in San Cassiano, right in the centre of the village.
Lagacio Hotel Mountain Residence Boutique eco hôtel in the centre of San Cassiano. "Spacious suites, Lagació’s gourmet breakfast, luxurious spa and wellness treatments and a variety of sports and leisure facilities are waiting for you."
Ciasa Salares
They offer a ‘dine around’ package in the hotel which means you eat in a different restaurant in the hotel each night and that includes the Michelin starred restaurant La Siriola which is part of the hotel. The owners here have a truly amazing collection of wines and this is the place to stay if you would like to taste superb wine that does not make it to our shores. Also has a chocolate room with over 30 types of chocolate! Situated on the road out towards Armentarola and not actually in San Cassiano itself.
