Non-skiers
We have a few non-skiers in resort. San Cassiano is
in a stunning area with lovely villages, high mountain cable cars and some of
the best mountain restaurants you’ll ever find. There are cross-country trails,
snowshoeing (guided walks available) and two Michelin starred restaurants in
the village (to stock up with energy for the cold…). The beautiful regional capital,
Cortina, is less than one hour’s drive away. The chapel of Sante Croce is the
picture postcard spot of the area, a short lift up from Badia, with a refuge
for lunch in the sunshine next to it. You will all have a chance to meet each
other on the Saturday evening at Da La Vedla and can make plans from there.
Beginners
We think we know who you are and will put you in
contact with each other. We believe
there are enough of you to get together and hire your own English speaking
private instructor for your group for a few mornings (rather than joining the
local ski school group classes). San Cassiano itself is actually best for beginners
and intermediate skiers. Those who are more advanced will take lifts and travel
further afield.
Those with Bambinos
We’ll be in touch separately about wedding day arrangements, deals for ski-school and accommodation.
